KDB @ Jimmy Mak's Saturday May 9th!: Category: KDB News |
Hello all,
we are so happy to let you know that we will be playing at Jimmy Mak's this Saturday. We have a fantastic show lined up for you. We will be featuring Portland Soul/R&B legend LaRhonda Steele as well as her husband and musical counterpart, Mark Steele on keys.
LaRhonda has made a name for herself in Portland playing with such artists as The Norman Sylvester Band, The No Delay Band, Sonny Hess, Jay Koder and Linda Hornbuckle to name a few. She has performed at the Mt. Hood Jazz Festival, The Waterfront Blues Festival, the Rose Festival and at various clubs and events in the metro area. La Rhonda renders heartfelt emotional blends of Blues Gospel and R&B and puts her soul into every song she sings. She is an absolutely amazing vocalist and performer and you really don't want to miss her with KDB at Portland's premier concert club.
As if that weren't enough, opening this show is the fantastic duo of Shelly Rudolph and Chance Hayden.
"When Shelly Rudolph sings, you can smell the smoke... this is the moment to catch a rising star." - Lynn Darroch, The Oregonian
We have sold out every single show we've done at Jimmy Mak's so I am going to urge you to call and make reservations now to insure you get a seat for this performance. You'll be glad you did. Call 503-295-6542

We're working on still more new material for our up-coming shows and will be learning a couple original pieces written by Mark and LaRhonda as well. Stay tuned for more upcoming gigs.
